The lighting industry is going through a complete (& exciting) transformation – LEDs, low-energy lighting products, low voltage lights, track lighting, security lighting … new products are entering the market at a rate of knots! BUT which ones would suit your application, what effects would they create, are they suitable for a particular area … are they the right choice? The use of energy efficient light fittings combined with lighting control can look both stunning and save energy and running costs!
Employing a lighting specialist enables you to make your choices with all the right information at your fingertips. JMA work with established Associate consultants with over 20 years of experience.
An hour or two of consultancy advice can mean the difference between wasting hundreds of pounds on light fittings that simply can’t do the job you’ve asked of them, and your new kitchen, bathroom, landscaped garden, extension, swimming pool achieving its full potential.
Consultancy can take place initially in our associate’s lighting studio in Haslingfield just outside Cambridge at times to suit your commitments but, for large works – new build, extensions, renovations, landscaping etc – there is really no substitute for visiting the site. Discussions with the builder, architect, electrician enable projects to progress smoothly and efficiently. JMA are able to offer a design and supply service and are able to specify a wide range of exciting designs from Italy and other European Countries. There is also a bespoke service to undertake one off pieces to suit a particular room or décor.
The move into home automation is expanding at an equally fast pace and the ability to control the home audio and visual aspects are available at now reasonable costs to suit most budgets. These control systems can be integrated into the lighting and lighting control design. Home entertainment with home cinemas and whole house audio and vision are becoming common place and we have experience at all ends of the spectrum in terms of client’s aspirations.
